Expert Appraisal Review
WesTech has extensive experience in performing appraisal review for court preparation, underwriting procedure, and other similar needs.
Our senior members have additional accreditation as Certified Appraisal Reviewers, which qualifies them to perform professional reviews of any appraisal report. This requires the DAR designation and completion of the Canadian National Association of Real Estate Appraisers educational program.
WesTech’s residential appraisal reports meet the requirements of the Courts and are prepared with the understanding that we may be required to defend them in court. We are familiar with the BC civil rules – specifically that expert reports are required to follow Rule 11‐6. Our clients can be confident that Westech’s court reports offer a higher level of detail, including the appraiser’s qualifications and specifics of the scope of data relied upon.
